Mississippi Water Conference Coming Up April 3-4
The annual conference of the Mississippi Water Resources Research Institute will be held on April 3 and 4 in Jackson, Mississippi.

With so many topics to cover and more than 60 oral presentations, the agenda is split into two concurrent sessions. Topics include groundwater availability and irrigation, water treatment, nutrient management, coastal issues, and more.

Dr. Brian Haggard, director of the Arkansas Water Resources Center plans to attend. “I love the Mississippi water conference,” he says. “Not only is it valuable to see how Mississippi is tackling some of the same water issues we face in Arkansas, but it’s also a great conference to network with other people and build a framework for potential collaboration.”

Registration is still open. Visit their conference website for more information and a link to register.
