Register for 2018 Arkansas Soil and Water Education Conference

Registration is now open for the 2018 Arkansas Soil and Water Education Conference and Expo. The meeting is scheduled for January 31, 2018 at the First National Bank Arena (formerly the Arkansas State University Convocation Center) in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Register for the conference by January 19th to get the early-registration rate of $20. You can still register after January 19th and can even register at the door the morning of for $40.

The agenda will address the latest issues and trends in soil and water conservation. Speakers include Arkansas farmers and producers, university researchers, industry representatives, and state and federal agencies. Session topics include technical information, policy perspectives, and implementing technology on the farm.

There is also a poster session with a student poster competition. Awards will be given to students in three categories: undergraduate, MS, and PhD. To submit, email Ms. Chris Jones, ChrisJones@astate.edu, the poster title, name and type of student, and a list of coauthors and their affiliations. The deadline to submit information to present a poster is January 24, 2018.

The program will begin at 8:00 am and end at 3:00 pm. Continuing education units (CEUs) will be given to certified crop advisors.
